Newspaper WordPress Theme Activation Code Free
- Download Original Newspaper 8 WordPress Theme
You can easily activate Newspaper 8 and Newspaper 7 Themes.
Earlier there is a different method to activate Newspaper 7 WordPress theme. But recently the theme version has updated and that bug was fixed in New Newspaper 8 version.
Newspaper 8 Theme Latest Method Step by Step
1 Step: Download & Extract Newspaper 8 Theme
2 Step: Now Go to includes > wp_booster
3 Step: Find & open td_wp_booster_functions.php file
4 Step: Scroll Down few lines , You will see code like
require_once(‘td_unique_posts.php’); // no autoload – unique posts (uses hooks + do_action(‘td_wp_boost_new_module’); )

2 require_once(‘td_block.php’); // block builder

5 Step: Now remove the line require_once(‘td_cake.php’); from above code and save it.
6 step: Now again convert Newspaper 8 folder into Zip format.
7 step: Now you can upload it to WordPress
That’s it.
You can apply this method before theme installation and after installation.

Theme is great, support is even better. But then again, on a lovely rainy day, I decided to make another staging area on my Google compute instance. So I installed Ubuntu, edited files to make it ready connecting to Server Pilot, installed it, and finally added WordPress app. I decided to start the staging area with the latest version of my Newspaper theme. I logged in to Envato and downloaded the theme.
I tweaked the files according to my previous article on version 8 activation.
I uploaded and applied the theme.
The surprise I got for this Christmas was just what I needed: The theme activation did not work!
Oh, man… but after thorough investigation through the td_ajax.php I found a couple solutions. The easiest one is to:
- navigate to /wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_ajax.php
- find this:
if (self::self_check($id, $ec, $ad) === true) {
(which should be located on line 926) - And change it to:
if (self::self_check($id, $ec, $ad) === false) {
After:
To activate the theme use MANUAL activation link:
Go to admin dashboard > Newspaper > Activate theme > click Activate the theme manually (which is located all the way down in the footer)
You can put anything you like. Here’s mine:
